Brittany Bell, M.A., BCBA
Brittany Bell has worked with children diagnosed with autism since 2002 when she graduated from Mississippi College with a bachelors in Special Education. After teaching and implementing Applied Behavior Analysis in the special education classroom, she served and was further trained in ABA by the certified staff at the University Medical Center's Mississippi Child Development Institute where she enjoyed working in both the roles of behavior therapist and special education teacher. She since has provided private in-home therapy and consultation services to a local school district where she has developed, set up, trained, and overseen multiple staff and autism classrooms, which implement both ABA and the TEACCH methodology.
When Brittany first saw 14 years ago how effective ABA was when implemented with her students, her passion to see children diagnosed with autism gain language and independence in their lives has only continued to grow. She now has a masters in Psychology, a post graduate certificate in Behavior Analysis, and is a Board Certified Behavior Analyst. Brittany strongly believes that there is a growing need for ABA services in this region and therefore The Growing Tree began.
The Growing Tree provides Applied Behavior Analysis services in both the clinic and home environments to children diagnosed with autism. Our focus is providing early intervention services as well as services to children between the ages of 2 to 8 years old. We then will continue to work with these clients as they grow into their teenage years if needed and agreed upon by all involved. We are devoted to improving the lives of children on the autism spectrum by providing high quality ABA services in a motivating environment. The needs of each child are first individually assessed and then these assessments guide the design and implementation of each child's personal Sprout ABA Program. Sprout Programs are individualized and aim to produce GROWTH, which at The Growing Tree is defined as Meaningful & Measurable change in language, functional skills, educational skills, and independence.
